Update- Covid 19 Regulations
11th September 2020
Following the First Minister’s announcements yesterday (10th September 2020) some important changes are required in the clubhouse with effect from Monday 13 September 2020.
- Only 6 people from 2 households can mix in the clubhouse at any one time. This effectively means that it will be tables of two throughout the Smoke Room and dining rooms, unless individuals from the same household are involved. Furniture – tables and chairs – must not be moved in the Smoke Room or Dining Room.
- Scottish Golf have confirmed that groups of up to four golfers are still allowed on the course subject to social distancing and other restrictions on the course.
- Face masks are compulsory for all staff in the public rooms.
- Individuals entering the clubhouse at any time must wear a face covering, only taking them off when seated and consuming food or drink. Coverings must be put on when moving around the public rooms or going to the toilets.
- Additional hand sanitisers will be available at the front door and in the hall-way and should be used on arrival and departure, especially when the front door is shut in windy conditions.
These conditions are in addition to the existing conditions that still apply:-
- All golf must be booking in advance on the tee booking system.
- Those intending to have lunch must book in advance (by at least 10am on the day) by calling the bar. It is possible that if numbers dictate, a request for a lunch table may need to be refused.
- Social distancing must be maintained at all times. Please refrain from stopping at other tables to speak to those seated.
- On arrival at the clubhouse please wait at the door of the Smoke Room to be seated.
- At busy times you may be asked to wait in the Smoke Room and only go through to the dining room when asked to do so.
- Staff will indicate whether coffee after lunch will be served at the table or back in the Smoke Room. At very busy times coffee may not be available.
- If lunching before golf members should not arrive more than 1hr 30 mins before their tee time.
- The one-way system through the Clubhouse still applies – exiting via the door in the North Room.
We really appreciate Members’ patience and cooperation with regard to these ever-changing conditions and protocols. Ultimately, of course, the health and welfare of all Members, guests, visitors and staff are paramount.
It is likely further changes to the clubhouse restrictions will be required, potentially at short notice. We are keeping all guidance under continual review and will inform members of any change as soon as possible.
